Rotary Club of Nevada County South - Demotion

The demotion of presidents of the Rotary Club of Nevada County South are legendary, as presidents are annually subjected to humorous and embarrassing demotions at the end of their terms. Last night, I had the pleasure of being demoted and now have the best position in any Rotary Club - past president.

I was arrested, dressed in a NCSO jump suit, and handcuffed. The charge of willful neglect of the Rotary Bell were filed, and I was unsurprisingly found guilty.

The pictures from last night's demotion is here.

While I am clearly biased, it is my opinion that we have have one of the best clubs around. I love my club and my Rotary friends...awesome people doing awesome work. Thank you so much for allowing me to be president for a year.

The video from last year's demotion is here.

Look out fellow Rotarians, as I get to plan the demotion of Mr. Sams next year!
