Jeff Pelline - Blogger with an Attitude Problem

As reported on his blog, Jeff Pelline was in downtown Truckee yesterday and checked out a few San Francisco-based men protesting President Obama. In fact these guys were asking people to sign a petition to impeach the President. Unreported by Pelline is that these guys are paid by the LaRouche PAC and have no affiliation with any elected officials.

Instead of pointing out the obvious about these guys from out of the area (in fact not long ago these same guys were in Rosebrug, Oregon), Pelline wrongfully alleged as follows: "They came here because Truckee 'representative' Tom McClintock has cleared the way for them, at least in their minds."

Maybe they were in Roseburg, Oregon, because Jeff Ackerman "cleared the way for them?"

Much to the disappointment of his audience, Pelline erroneously asserts that Congressman McClintock "set the tone" for them. This argument is much the same as the argument advanced by some in connection with the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS - that President Obama "set the tone." In connection with the IRS, it is a weak argument not supported by concrete evidence...it is also a weak argument advanced by Pelline without any concrete evidence in connection with Congressman McClintock.

When these articulate responses were posed to Jeff Pelline, what did he do? Instead of responding to these intelligent and thoughtful comments, he deletes the responses in order to advance his false narrative.

Is this proper behavior of an unbiased journalist or someone who is attempting to advance his false narrative by stifling discussion, changing the subject, and bullying any dissent to his false narrative? You be the judge.
