Mainstream Media Finally Catching onto Obama

In reading news articles of late and watching the Sunday morning talk shows, a common theme is developing among the mainstream media. The Obama administration has been caught in a bunch of misrepresentations and downright lies to the mainstream media - and they do not like it.

First, it was the Benghazi story. Obama and his team asserted that the attack on the embassy was the result of an anti-Islam video. Truth be told, the Obama and his team knew it was an Al-Qaeda attack all along, but because it occurred during the election, they lied.

Second, the IRS started profiling applicants for 501(c)(4) status. If they were conservative, the IRS often requested information which it is not allowed to request. Such wrongful requests were also sent to our local Tea Party.

Now, the Justice Department "secretly obtained two months of telephone records of reporters and editors for The Associated Press in what the news cooperative's top executive called a 'massive and unprecedented intrusion' into how news organizations gather the news."

The entire story is here.

The subpoenas are unprecedented. "The May 7, 2012, AP story that disclosed details of the CIA operation in Yemen to stop an airliner bomb plot occurred around the one-year anniversary of the May 2, 2011, killing of Osama bin Laden."

"The plot was significant both because of its seriousness and also because the White House previously had told the public it had 'no credible information that terrorist organizations, including Al Qaeda, are plotting attacks in the U.S. to coincide with the (May 2) anniversary of bin Laden's death.'"

What we are seeing from pillar to post is every attempt possible to stop speech which is critical of the Obama administration.

The mainstream media is now being challenged by the Obama administration. Further, the Obama administration wants whistleblowers to know that his administration will go after them too. The Obama administration is doing everything it can to stifle speech in the media and crackdown on whistleblowers. This summer and fall should prove to be very interesting between the mainstream media and Obama.
