Over the past two years since the abrupt ending of his employment with The Union, Jeff Pelline has amassed quite a political record on his blog. He claims to be "in the middle," but let's take a clear look at who and what he has opposed since the beginning of 2009.
1. Opposes Republican Congressman
2. Opposes Republican Assemblyman
3. Opposes Republican candidate for County Treasurer
4. Opposes Proposition 23 (supports AB32)
5. Opposes Republican candidate for Governor
6. Opposes Republican candidate for US Senate
7. Opposed Republican candidate for District 3 Supervisor
8. Opposed Republican candidate for Clerk-Recorder
BONUS: Members of the Nevada County Democrat Central Committee who regularly comment on Pelline's blog disagree rarely, if ever, with him.
Based on this scorecard, it appears to me that the Jeff Pelline Blog is more mouthpiece for the left than "fair and balanced."
On a side note, I agree with Jeff on the County Treasurer's race, so I guess that makes me more "middle of the road" than him.
